My Hexie quilt is finally finished! Many lessons learned making this, such as "don't back a quilt with fleece, you over-ambitious fool" and "your hand sewing is average at best!". But I'm really pleased with how it came out, and it's lovely and cuddly.

@35millimetre this is awesome! My eye moves across the top with the placement of the roses and across the bottom with the bright orange hexies and then I look closer and am delighted by the novelty fabric choices

And, yeah, fleece is a PITA but the snuggle factor can’t be beat

@inarticulatequilter That's so lovely of you to say - your gorgeous quilts were a big inspiration to me when I started quilting! I had lots of fun picking out all the prints. Going to try a One Block Wonder next, should be a challenge!
