and neither is my XE anymore!

The XE has been out of commission for a few months after the power switch broke off and then I broke it further with some DIY repairs. Now that I got the spare parts and some steadier hands, it's good as near-new and as smooth as butter again!

Taking advantage of that to also showoff a new lens - an MC SI 28mm f/2.5.Mildly radioactive elements but obviously safe enough to receive in the post!

(If anyone's interested in the repair process which may have included a hammer, I'm happy to oblige in a short-ish thread)

I'd love to see the insides of this:). Also curious what de lens comes up with. I've read that the radioactive coatings degrade

@Ingiald From what I've seen the radioactive elements degrade into essentially a free yellow filter 😅. I have a spare SI lens I can mostly take apart (the set screws to access the aperture are fused, hence why I got another) and I'll show it!
