I was having tons of photography fun in the Sunflower field in Ariss, Ontario, Canada when this lovely Monarch Butterfly decided to feed on some yellow Sunflowers and then flitted to the next Sunflower bouquet. Monarch Butterflies are now listed as endangered.

@DebOppermann I had more than ever visit my home this year because of my crops and pollinator gardens (SE Texas). I am looking into winter-growing flowers now and cleaning out the dead stuff this week so that winter pollinators have a shot (technically the planting season ends today for a lot of crops, but considering how bloody hot it's been and likely not to diminish any time soon, I could probably do another week or 2 of prep before putting seeds down... not like it's gonna suddenly flash freeze around here, anyway, come December).
