@FonDenton I've often wondered what wild horses do to keep their hooves in good condition.
@David_Epithet Great question, David. They wear them down naturally because they are almost constantly on the move. They can cover up to 20 miles in a day over various terrain from rocky to sandy. This is very different from domestic horses who are confined to smaller spaces that are usually maintained and planted. The rare exception with the wild ones is if there is an injury that prevents weight bearing.

@David_Epithet Sometimes it is. It depends on the extent. But they are amazingly resilient and often recover from injuries that most might think they wouldn't.
