Château Miranda was located in the province of Namur, #Belgium. Building work started in 1866 and culminated with the clock tower construction in 1907. It was home to the wealthy Liedekerke-De Beaufort family until World War II. It was used as an orphanage and children’s holiday camp from between the 1950s and 1970s.
It was demolished in 2016, shortly after I visited and captured these photos https://www.obsidianurbexphotography.com/residential/chateau-miranda-belgium/
@albi ;) I strongly suspect my visit and the demolition were unrelated, at least in this case. I did nearly get caught up in a ceiling collapse in Ireland earlier this year, but even then I was not causing it (just nearly getting squashed by it) :(
