Was it a concert hall in the past? How did it end up abandoned?

Oh so close, it was a dancehall so showbands would perform here. It became abandoned as these places are no longer popular in Ireland, and I guess another use was never found sadly

Do you happen to know how long its been abandoned for? It's still in such good condition!

Sadly, no idea for this one. The outside was very very overgrown though, so probably quite a number of years

Thanks! Sadly times and tastes change, this place would have been packed out during evening performances in the 1960s to mid 1980s. Dancehalls are not popular now in Ireland, so this is left to rot (and ultimately, will be demolished)
