Standish Hospital started out as a manor house. Later, it saw a variety of medical uses over the decades. Eventually, it closed in 2004.

I recognise some rooms in your photos from when it was still running as a hospital. My brother was in there for some cerebral palsy stuff either late 80s or early 90s.

Oh wow, that's interesting to hear from someone that remembers it when it was open!
When I visited a few years ago they were already flattening some of it. Must all be houses by now!
