Wild forest foxes are so cool.

I was heading home after photographing deer when this young fox appeared from behind thick bushes.

I was in ghillie suit and managed to scooch down. The fox stopped and looked at me for over a minute with curiosity. Then dashed off into the forest to hunt pheasants.

Love this. Reminded me of my friend's pet foxes, Geraldine & Theodore, that lived to very ripe old ages with the run of the house, weekly visits to our elementary school on decorative leashes to spend part of a day getting tons of affection from the kids & the foxes loved it. Many times I'd spend the night at their house & wake to find one or both of them in bed with me. Best memories!
