Golden Crown

The sunset is sinking slowly behind the mountain ridge behind us to the south, casting a shadow across most of the peak in front of us. Only the tip is left in sunlight.

In the centre of the photo is a triangular mountain topped by a strange, steep-sided spike of rock. The flanks of the mountain are covered in snow, all the way up to this unusual peak. The sky behind is blue with some sunset-tinted cloud, and the whole mountain is in shadow with the exception of the very tip, which is highlighted by the colour of the sunset.
