Since a lot of you have come from Twitter (known colloquially as Birdsite on the fediverse), did you know there is another federated service that acts more like Instragram?

If that's your thing, go check it out. You can follow people from there, here, and vice-versa. Just search for them with the fully qualified name, eg:

etc.
