I was "nowhere" (while traveling across the continent). The hot dogs were pretty alright tho!

@averlydoesphotostuff the building and sign position are different compared to your photo, so it's confirmed that there are at least two gas stations in Nowhere, USA

@averlydoesphotostuff @gravezwave that fits,... this one time we were driving from the Denver airport to Kimball NE ( the Kimball County Seat! has a stoplight now! ) when in-car GPS had started being a thing.
and you could get it to read, like, "you're on <road> near <fort worth>" or, like, whatever recognizable place you were near?
...
so at some point we were going along on some give-a-shit highway, and push the button and it was just like "you are near....." and then trailed off pointedly.
@averlydoesphotostuff what's up with these "You Are Nowhere" signs? I found and shared a picture of another one of them a few days ago (unless it happened to be the same sign as the one you photographed, which would be an impressive coincidence). are they meant to be as surreal as they end up being, I wonder
