Stile in the sun. (I'm never sure how much the concept of a stile needs explaining to folk who don't have ancient footpath rights of way, but I guess it's self-explanatory!) The field it leads into is known locally as "Parliament Piece", see khas.co.uk/archives-parliament.

A wooden stile, a bit of low wooden fence with a board set to help a walker get over, leads into a field in the afternoon sun. The sun shines on the brambles nearby, but the further trees are in shadow. Colour photo.
