Just after the sun had set on this particular sculpture in the Living Desert Sculpture Garden.

@david That looks like a perfect spot for some self-reflection :)

@kemonine I dare say it is, except at sunset, when a busload of tourists turns up.

Also, on that particular day, there were constant winds of around 35-40kph.

how did you keep upright and get a stable shot?

@kemonine When you're that far from home, and won't be going back soon, I guess you just need to make do with the conditions.

Luckily, there wasn't a lot of dust being thrown up by the wind, otherwise it might have been a bit much.

@david I can appreciate the approach. I've slushed through mud, grime and goo to get shots before.

I'm hoping going to be spending some time in the middle of nowhere later this year and wholly intend to take some spare clothes just in case I run into bad conditions while out in nature ๐Ÿ˜‰
