@horibo How far were you from the dragonfly? I always wanted that kind of lens but it is too heavy... I prefer carrying extra food than extra lenses.

@springheterson Thanks. Well, you can go hiking for just a couple of hours. I started with very short hikes on well marked tracks, photography and nature enthusiasts motivated me.

Yet I spent months inside during my first gap year, skipping hostels and backpackers. It was more a cost effective way of than . Indeed, I spent less than 5€ per day, all included. My hikes were no longer than a day. I just wanted to , meet people, and see .
