Working on the P.170 . This rear brace design dates back 30 years to the swinglens camera of the same (6 by 17 - 170 degrees) format that I built.

@JoHowell this is an incomplete V3 of the design. With V1, I made these photos. The is f/200 - 0.012”. That version of the has a rise/fall on it.

170 degree panoramic pinhole image of a church in our area taken from street level. There are a lot of trees and dappled lighting. A rising mechanism that’s part of the shutter allows the camera to look up from street level without significant horizon curvature.
