Kolmannskuppe is a former diamond mining town close to the costal town of Lüderitz in southern Namibia.
Active until the 30s, it's a ghost town today that has partially been reclaimed by the Namib desert around it.
During the years 1908 to 1913 the area mined over a metric ton of diamonds. The town had plenty of amenities with electricity, running water and an ice factory to stock the fridges in every house.

@AliCatTomskit there are a lot of photos of that location. So maybe they were used as inspiration and reference for the game design.
