Thanks to a tip from another couple in the area, we managed to see this Dog-faced Water Snake (Cerberus schneiderii) at Pasir Ris Park mangrove area, Singapore, on 28 March 2021.
The Dog-faced Water Snake is apparently a common snake in the mangrove area, but it usually hunts fish and invertebrates at night, so it is not often seen in daytime.
