AAAAH

So we always go to the doggy park around sunset - there are loads of huge trees there and the sun is always twinkling through them with lovely Golden Hour light so I figured tonight I'd try for some sunbursts - you need a high F-Stop but compensated with slow shutter speed and/or high ISO, and careful positioning, and it can be tricky.

So I'm fracking stoked that I got this DOUBLE SUNBURST. AAAAH

I also need to point out that that's not a reflection of the sunburst in the water. The sunburst happens with the sun comes through a small space, like tree branches, and it's only visible at a certain angle. It just so happened that when I took that photo, the sun's reflection in the water must have hit a tiny space between some rocks that also caused THAT lightsource to make the burst shape. I have other photos over the water with only the single burst.

@welshpixie hello God? Yes it's the angel in charge of the department of celestial alignment here. Yeah just to let you know that we found a strange glitch in the equations and did a momentary readjustment.. Wouldn't normally be a problem but some mortal had her camera shutter open at just the right moment..
..uh huh..
.. I see...
.. Yeah I agree, with that kind of luck she deserves to keep it. Just as well as the director of extinction events is out of the office..
