I prefer 28 Days Later to 28 Weeks Later due to some really silly choices characters made in the sequel, but the latter does have a cool twist in it that I hope this series will continue to play around with when 28 Years Later Comes out.

(And, to be fair, some people have made equally silly and deadly choices these past five years. )

I’m thinking about watching 28 Weeks Later on January 20 as a fun distraction.

It will be my first time watching that film, and I did like 28 Days Later when I saw it recently.

I watched 28 Days Later this afternoon and must admit that the main characters in it acted much more sensibly than some people did about five years ago.

If anything, there should have been at least one character in it who believed zombies weren’t real.

I can see how this film renewed interest in the genre, though.

I don’t know when I’ll watch 28 Weeks Later, but it should be before 28 Years Later comes out.

I was hoping to finally give this series a try before 28 Years Later is released, but it’s not available on any of the streaming services I use.

I hope this changes soon. It’s time to scare myself silly with fictional frights in 2025 if I can.
