Britten Sheriff, East Midlands International Airport 'Aeropark'. When John Britten died suddenly his last design, a light twin, was c.70% complete, and had been pushed into 'the weeds'. I was Curator of the Aeropark at the time, and was part of a team which viewed the aircraft on the Isle of Wight, and arranged for it to be transported to the museum. Many years later, it now stands on public exhibition, one of the last flowerings of the British 'light twin' #British #aircraft #twinenginedaircraft #JohnBritten #BrittenSheriff #EastMidlands #EMIA #EGNX #airport # #avgeek #aviationlovers #photography #museum #aeropark #isleofwight #leicestershire #InternationalAirport
