I took this in Avonport a few years ago. The flags shows recognition of the Mi'kmaq, whose history goes back much further than that of the Europeans. From top to bottom: Canada, Acadia, Nova Scotia, Mi'kmaq nation. I guess in order, it's newest down. :)

This is high tide. At low tide, this is a mud flat, popular among shorebirds, especially those fattening up for the long trip to South America from their summer nesting sites.

A pole with 4 flags, one atop the other, is planted in a field of marsh grass. Where there isn't marsh, there is open water. The grass is green, the water is grey, reflecting the grey sky that is making the lighting very diffuse.

Can your RV motorhome pass under? What about side clearance? Proceed with caution.
My GPS was intentionally programmed for USA scenic routes, while avoiding Motorways. I think we had to turn back at one of these, with only 8'-9' clearance in Ohio..

A low overhead on a tunnel underpass below the the highway, 4.6 m clearance in the exact center, a tunnel passage only 3.9 meters at the side. There are zebra striped black and yellow side markers, and the clearance marker above, at the exact center, and below it to the right, the clearance just one meter from center is almost a meter lower. The single lane is paved, and looking through, you can see farms in the distance. Roughly, for a 2 meter wide vehicle, they can only pass under under 3.9 meters, (12.6 feet) For comparison, the standard on highway overpasses, telephone wires, and safe passage for trucks, is 14 feet
