This Is A Black And White Wildlife Photo In Landscape Format. In The Foreground And Lower Right Corner Are A Number Of Grey And Sharp Rocks, The Closer Rocks Blurred Out Of Focus. Standing Behind Those Rocks Is A Chinstrap Penguin Filling A Little Over Half The Frame In Height. Our Penguin Is At Right Angles To The Camera And Facing To The Right. The Bird's Back Is Black While Most Of The Front Is White. The Distinguishing Markings Being A Narrow Black Stripe Running From The Back Of The Head, Under The Eyes And Chin: Hence The Name. In The Middle Ground Is A Strip Of Dark Grey Water. In The Background And Heavily Blurred Out Of Focus Is The Steeply Rising Snow Covered Terrain Of A Mountain Ridge. The Location Is Graham Land On The West Coast Of The Antarctic Peninsular (2024).

This Is A Colour Wildlife Photo In Landscape Format. To The Left Of Centre Is A White-Tailed Eagle, Often Called A Sea Eagle (Haliaeetus Albicilla) In Flight From Left To Right And Nearly At Right Angles To The Camera. The Birds Wings Are Outspread As It Soars Off A Rugged And Rocky Sea Cliff. The Eagle Is Mostly Brown In Colour With Some White Speckles Mainly Around The Body. The Bird Has A Large Head, Looking Straight Ahead With An Even Larger Yellow/Orange Beak. The Cliff Face Is A Jumble Of Uneven Sharp And Jagged Rocks With A Large Amount Of Vegetation Growing From The Cracks And Gaps. In The Upper Left Corner Is A Glimpse Of Brilliant Blue, Clear And Cloudless Sky.
The Location Is Storstappan An Island High (71º North)

A Very Simple Colour Wildlife Photo In Landscape Format. To The Left Of Centre And Filling About Half The Frame Is A Close Up Photo Of A California Scrub Jay (Aphelocoma Californica). The Bird Is Perched On A Length Of Wood, At Right Angles To The Camera And Facing To The Left. Our Bird Is Generally Very Light Grey With A Few Areas Of Medium Grey. What Makes The Bird Distinctive Are The Vivid Medium Blue Areas. On The Crown Of The Head: Blue, Under The Chin: Blue, Wings And Tail: Blue. Our Bird Had A Friendly Disposition Possibly Thinking It Was Lunchtime. The Background Is Filled With Sea Mist.

Rio Lagartos, Mexico.

А после розового озера покатались на моторке по Rio Lagartos. Основной целью были фламинго. Меня не впечатлили - были далековато даже для моей камеры. А вот бурый пеликан\brown pelican\Pelecanus occidentalis порадовал - сел прямо на борт лодки.
И очередного крокодила запечатлел; очень удобные для съемки животные.
Еще впервые увидел мечехвоста(мертвого).
