There may be a media blackout on the 'Hands Off' ralllies across the nation. Because it is being billed as 'anti-Trump' media outlets will fear reporting it.

Best to make note of media that deliberately ignore the story, which is undeniably happening everywhere. As we know, that is censorship at the owner/publisher/editor level.

Since people in the US are reflecting on their purchase habits, I would like to offer this list of Grocery Co-ops. (Full disclosure, I have membership in two).

They range from very tiny to quite large. If you've never shopped there, they may feel weird at first (no major known brands, etc). Prices may be higher, but sometimes not by much. A large part of the money, though, stays in the community. The managers do a lot of work in sourcing ethically.

Today’s "economic blackout" in the U.S. began from an unlikely source. But it’s tapped into Americans’ anger.

Yes we are doing the "Feb 28 Economic Blackout" or whatever it is. The plan is to not spend at all today.

I doubt it changes spending for the quarter, but a daily blip on companies' spreadsheets will be noticed and the analytic folks will need to explain the reason for years to come.

That was stymied a bit with a new doctor's appointment today, but I guess I did pay the copay when I checked in yesterday.
