I installed MX Linux on my 2012-vintage Macbook Air (i7, 16gb) yesterday and it works quite well. IT is back to being a very usable machine.
I think extracting every bit of life out of old gear and buying used will become increasingly important in the Trump-created economic disaster. It makes it easier to boycott Trump-friendly corporations (and the US as a whole for those of us fortunate enough to live elsewhere.) #linux #BoycottTrump #BoycottUSA

I'm merely one voice on the internet. But I want to note now that today's protests are entirely peaceful.
It will not stay that way. That will get more attention then.
There will be bad faith provocateurs and (state and non-state) agents of regime violence in the future. We all know Trump has announced what he wants to happen.
That violence will be *reaction to the peaceful protests* not an intrinsic part of the protests themselves.
Well done Americans of decency.

I voted other and am a little disillusioned with the poll results at this point.
The American Government has repeatedly expressed their intentions to annex either by physical or economic force Canada, Greenland and the Panama canal.
I will not if there is anyway to avoid, support america, american businesses, american services

@mister2 Pour beaucoup d'américains, notamment l'électorat du con orange, les États-Unis et le monde son synonyme. Et selon mes propres expériences, apart des expatrié peut-être, même les américains modéré ne connaissent pas vraiment le monde. Pour eux, tous les autres pays sont soit-il niveau Tiers-Monde où comme les États-Unis. Ils ne comprennent pas du tout l'énorme diversité de l'humanité.

They are some flaws in this idea , for example :
- First it is the Americans who pay the taxes not the rest of the world.
- Second it works only if Americans agree to continue to buy products from other countries..

They should add the number of the 3rd to the 4th April.
And the 6% will be more like 10% .
And the bloodbath is not finish , because for the moment the Americans don’t feel the price increase . Wait for next week , the vegetables will have higher prices ,and in 2/3 weeks for the other products .
