1. I've been rereading the #StormlightArchive by #BrandonSanderson to prepare for the newest one, Wind and Truth (no spoilers please) and I love how I pick something new out of it each time. Looking forward to the new book, but I'm enjoying this part too (journey before destination!). There are many parallels to yoga as well, when I'm feeling better I'd like to explore that more in a post.

2. I'm still trying to recuperate after being ill again, but I'm making some slow but steady progress and have been feeling a tad more rested than last week.

3. The weather has been sunny these last few days, I spent more time outside, with more and more birds, flowers, bees and butterflies visiting. Spring has really started again.

Just finished reading “The Way of Kings” by Brandon Sanderson. At first, I was a bit thrown off by all the odd fantasy names and concepts, but once I got over that, the story absolutely pulled me in and made the book hard to put down.

Very impressive, I’m curios if the other books in the series can do this first instalment justice. Long series unfortunately have a tendency to drag.

9/10, can recommend.

Stormlight Archiven viides osa luettu. Olipahan eepos. Eeppinen, intensiivinen, humaani, koskettava.

I know that Sanderson has *some* useful knowledge on how to worldbuild, maybe even on how to write (highly debated take among my reader acquaintances!), and I mostly like his method, but boy does the man make a patent, overt effort to make me hate his "how", "why" and "what for".

Yes, this is about magic systems and how systematizing weird things and branding them as "magic" is just yet another tool to get a publisher to DRM your book.

As I write 2000 words on something far more serious for tomorrow this was a great break between writing and editing. I'm a big Sanderson fan and have the latest book to read over my Christmas break, if not before when I finish my current fiction read, Howling Dark.

I always enjoy NerdF
