Would you be interested in a place for us to discuss topics concerning the two sibling servers internally?
I'm thinking of starting a #Discourse forum where we could:
* do community building
* brainstorm ideas for the instances and the Fediverse
* talk about our principles, rules, guidelines and moderation
* ask questions and help each other
* do whatever else we come up with

:discourse: discourse.org/ is a free libre forum software that is working on ActivityPub compatibility, meaning it is/will be part of the Fediverse, able to federate topics and categories with other Discourse forums, #lemmy and possibly Mastodon and lots of other parts of the Fediverse.
For now you'd have to create an account on the forum to participate in discussions though.

I think it would be good for us, if more people were more involved in decisions and discussions about the instances as well as in community building and socializing.

Das Kollapscamp, vom 28. – 31.08.2025 im nordbrandenburgischen Kuhlmühle, ist der Ort, an dem wir anfangen, Katastrophe und Kollaps nicht als die Apokalypse, als das Ende aller Hoffnung, zu betrachten, sondern als einen strategischen Raum, für den wir uns neu aufstellen müssen und können.

Es gilt, in einer Gesellschaft, die sich immer mehr von der Realität entfernt, die Wahrheit über Klima, Faschismus und Kollaps zu sagen – und wer das tut, merkt, dass es sehr viele Menschen gibt, die sich ähnliche Fragen stellen, wie wir das tun, auch weit jenseits der etablierten “Bubbles”.

Es gilt, sich gemeinsam auf Katastrophen vorzubereiten, um im Ernstfall in der Lage zu sein, sich und anderen zu helfen, den solidarischen Impuls der Nächstenhilfe zu organisieren, zu verstetigen, und zur Basis eines neuen linken Projekts zu machen: Gerechtigkeit im Kollaps.

Es gilt, auch unter diesen schwierigen Bedingungen Orte des guten Lebens aufzubauen, zu schützen und zu erweitern. Es gibt Vorbilder und Möglichkeiten, nicht bei der Kollapsakzeptanz aufzuhören, sondern sie zu nutzen, zu politisieren, zu organisieren.

Auch im Kollaps hört unser Kampf für die beste mögliche Welt für Alle nicht auf.

Auf dem Kollapscamp werden wir reden, fühlen, streiten, bauen und machen.

The Pentagon – the US armed forces and Department of Defense (DoD) agencies – is the world’s largest institutional greenhouse gas emitter, accounting for at least 1% of total US emissions annually, according to analysis by Neta Crawford, co-founder of the Costs of War project at Brown University.

Over the past five decades, US military emissions have waxed and waned with its geopolitical fears and ambitions. In 2023, the Pentagon’s operations and installations generated about 48 megatons of carbon dioxide equivalent (MtCO2e) – more planet-warming gases than emitted by entire countries including Finland, Guatemala and Syria that year.
