I've never posted these all together...so here are my coastal path prints!

Rock Stack, Boat House, Beach Huts and Along the Coastal Path.

Four screenprints. One shows a coastal path around a cliff, with a rock stack sticking up out of the sea. The next shows a boat house on a slipway with a boat in front and cliffs to the right with a path coming down. Then we have a print of beach huts with a path coming through the centre of the print. There are three huts. Lastly a print of a coastal path winding along the headland with a tin mine in the distance, a fence next to the path and sea and headland top right.

Printed only three years ago, my Boat House print is a bit of an experiment in using textures and stylised elements.

It is part of a series of prints I did with a path in, including Beach Huts, Rock Stack and Along the Coastal Path.

A four colour screenprint of a boat house on a slipway with a boat in front. To the right are cliffs and between the cliffs and the boat house is a path coming down the cliffs and going across the beach. At the bottom is some seaweed. The entire print is very stylised.

Here's "Mwnt Moonrise" of the little 13th century church overlooking an almost perfect west facing beach enclosed on three sides by cliffs.

When I close my eyes and think of Mwnt, it looks like this. Yes, you can see dolphins from the beach - it's the first place I ever saw them in UK waters, waaay back in the 1970s!

For this weekend's photo, I thought I would share another Landscape photo from my trip to the Dorset coast. I would have liked a more interesting sky but the weather was not playing ball on the day. It's still a nice view though.

Sometimes I just want to paint a view 'straight'. This #painting has been on my 'To Do' list since we walked here 6 months ago. It's "The Path to #Mwnt", part of the #Ceredigion #coastalpath in West #Wales.

It's from Mwnt beach on a family holiday in the early 70s I first saw #dolphins in UK waters. We saw them again in June. #CardiganBay still has a resident population of about 250 bottlenose dolphins.
