On and above the water there are some ducks and seagulls (quite small in the distance).
On the left side there‘s a patch of reeds growing on the shore catching and reflecting the light of the sun above it. Behind the reeds there‘s a weeping willow without leaves also growing near the shore.
The pond is framed by a green meadow.
In the foreground there‘s a grey pavement made of paving stones partly covered by the shadows of the reeds.
In the backround there are more trees without leaves marking the horizon.
The sky is blue and partly covered with white and grey clouds. The sun is shining very brightly through the clouds.

The Wilkinson House by Robert Oshatz, completed in 2004, is an example of modern architecture at peace with its site. The house occupies a wooded Pacific Northwest site, with a fast sloping grade that allows the main level of the house to sit amongst the tree canopy. Walls made of glass let abundant natural lighting through into the interior spaces and provide views to the surrounding canopy.
