Przez przypadek na swiezo postawionym systemie uzylem google do wyszukania konkretnej strony ze skryptem, ktory #ddg oddaje jako pierwszy wynik. Nie znalazlo, albo nie bylem na tyle zdeterminowany, zeby sie przekopac przez 3 strony reklam. Nareszcie, Kaczor wygrywa z Wujkiem Gówno. Wystarczyło poczekać, sami sobie nasrali do miski.

Duck Duck Go is showing me ads at the top of the results. And uBlock origin isnt blocking it. So fuck DDG.
Holy shit, #DuckDuckGo has started showing (bad!) AI summaries for search results instead of excerpts from the page. #DDG results have been going downhill for a while, but this is just unusable.
(This is inherited from Bing. DDG once had its own search results, but has just been Bing for a while now.)
What are y'all using for search engines these days?

Aber ich wollte damit auch nur sagen: Vielleicht habe ich mir inzwischen eine Art angeeignet, mit der ich bei #ddg alles finde, was ich suche.

@kaffeeringe Ehrlich gesagt empfinde ich es wie @derbruesseler - die Gewichtung der Suchergebnisse bei #ddg sind echt nicht gut. Google hat mal gesagt, dass sie Kontexte mitberücksichtigen.
Wenn also jemand ein Dev ist und zum Beispiel nach "Go" sucht, wird er mit großer Wahrscheinlichkeit nicht das uralte Spiel aus Asien meinen.
Diese Kontexte ignoriert DDG und hat dadurch teilweise bescheidene Ergebnisse, obwohl es datenschutztechnisch bestimmt sinnvoll ist.

@derbruesseler Ich glaube, es ist wie auch bei Leuten, die sich nicht von Microsoft lösen können:
Wenn man bei #DuckDuckGo etwas nicht findet, ist #DDG schlecht.
Wenn man bei #Google etwas nicht findet, hätte es eh kein anderer Dienst besser gemacht.
Ich suche seit Jahren prima mit #ddg und in nur immer selteneren Fällen hänge ich der Suche noch ein !g an, damit die Anfrage an Google weitergeleitet wird.
#DuckDuckGo ist mal wieder großartig. Ich suche eine Webseite. Die erste Seite mit Suchergebnissen bezieht sich auf besagte Webseite und erst auf der zweiten Seite finde ich den Link.
Ich weiß nicht warum ich weiterhin #ddg eine Chance gebe. Die Suchergebnisse sind einfach nur suboptimal.

So I have a cheap Disney subscription through a Malaysian app called Hotstar. There is a reason it is cheap and a reason that DDG is my fave engine. The larger of the 2 logs is during 1 hour of streaming. #DisneyHotstar #Privacy #DDG #DuckDuckGo

Can't be done. Just found out.
I'm trying to use Duck Duck Go browser as my default. I've been using Brave. Both Brave and Opera allow a search of open tabs. Using DDG search for a website on mobile brings up the option to go to an open tab. Why can I not find the option on the desktop browser to see a list of open tabs and search within them? What am I missing?
Anyone?

I guess #DDG should be thankful. MS spent all the big bucks for them.

Das Experiment #DuckDuckGo als alternative Suchmaschine ist für mich jetzt endgültig beendet. Nachdem #ddg mich auf eine Fakeseite der Tagesschau weiterleitet, in der ein Scam beworben wird, ist für mich die rote Linie überschritten worden.
