Tonight my spouse and I are rewatching Lord of the Rings: The Two Towers.
The ents remain my favourite race in that universe. I’d watch a film or read a book only about them if such a thing existed.
The thought of intelligent trees who can walk and talk fascinates me and is a wonderful distraction.

@lifewithtrees@mstdn.social Love those #tree pics! They are majestic! Imagine if they could talk like the #Ents in Tolkiens #Middleearth. Centuries-old trees, you would certainly have to rewrite the history of our world in some parts, they have seen so much!

PWYW can mean free or it can mean a couple of dollars. I don't really mind. :) It's got unicorns (from Beagle to Stross) big tree people and tiny murder sprites and tinkerbells as well. I write other stuff too.
