Meine 2 #Fairphone5 mit #eSim haben sich gerade bei der Fahrt über die Grenze von Deutschland nach Holland neu gestartet. Sehr unpraktisch, wenn gerade das Navi auf einem der Geräte läuft.

@Photor bei @iFixit gibt es noch neue Akkus für das iPhone 7 für wenig Geld. Und schwierig auszutauschen ist der mit deren Anleitung auch nicht.

Ansonsten ist beim #Fairphone in der Tat der Akku ohne Werkzeug auszutauschen, wie in den guten alten Zeiten.

Auf #degoogle|ten Androids laufen die meisten apps auch. Für @microg gibt es da eine community made Liste für Kompatibilität.

Mit #Fairphone alles kein Problem. Ich nutze Fairphone 4 für alles das (Android 13, 03/2025). OSMand, OrganicMaps o.ä. kenne ich allerdings nicht.

Der Akku meines alten iPhone 7 gibt wohl gerade endgültig auf. Es muss also was neues her.

- eigentlich wollte ich weg von Apple (USA und so)
- Android/Google auch ncht besser

Liebäugle mit
- #Fairphone: Akkuwechsel möglich(?), mit /e/OS (Murena)
- #GrapheneOs (aber Google-Hardware)

Aber wie siehts mit Apps aus?
- Krankenkasse
- Signal, Whatsapp (leider), Threema
- Banking
- OSMand, OrganicMaps o.ä.

PS: neuer Akku für’s Phone wäre das beste

Weiß jemand, ob man alternative Smartphones a la #Fairphone et al auch irgendwo ausprobieren kann? Haben die üblichen Handyläden sowas? Würde gerne mal die Handhabung testen. Auch gerade mal mit #UbuntuTouch o.ä.

#volla würde mich auch interessieren. Vor allem im Vergleich zum #Fairphone. Letzteres scheint mir eher was für Engagierte und early Adopter zu sein

One reason for #SailfishOS (Jolla's product) not gaining more traction is that apart from their #JollaC2 you can't simply buy a phone with it installed. And if #fairphone (and #shiftphone for that matter) won't do it until these systems gain more traction we're in a vicious circle. So what we need is an idea to get out of this!

Die letzten Teile für mein #fairphone 3+ besorgt. Display und Akku. Das Ding läuft seit 4 Jahren ohne Probleme und das Display ist noch heile. Akku macht langsam schlapp, aber hält noch 1,5 Tage. Ich hoffe, es hält noch durch bis zur Rente.
