#Anecdotique ?

And yes, #Fentanyl is so dangerous, even most #Darknet #Markets and #Forums ban that shit for that reason alone and #dealers started to offer free Test Kits to check for it in their merchandise.

  • Cuz it's one thing to draw attention for a #VictimlessCrime but having an actual body count escalates things very quickly, cuz then it's not a "narcotics" but a "murder" division taking on the cases!

OFC, this is due to the #OpioidCrisis started with #Oxycontin / #Oxycodon and #criminalization isn't helping anyone.

"Two months into recriminalization, it was hard to discern any visible change in the downtown drug market. People smoked fentanyl in plain sight and clustered at the usual spots: around the public library, the Burnside Street McDonald’s, along Alder Strett, in the parking lot beneath the closed Montessori school." —Jason Motlagh for @RollingStone

A person is using fentanyl on Park Avenue following the decriminalisation of all drugs in downtown Portland, Oregon on January 23, 2024. Since hard drugs were decriminalised in Oregon three years ago, there are no arrests, just a fine and a card with a telephone number where the user can get help. In February 2021, possession and use of all drugs -- including cocaine, heroin, ecstasy and fentanyl -- was decriminalised in the western state. Sale and production remains punishable. >Mr. Bessent and Jamieson Greer, the United States Trade Representative, for the Trump administration, said the two countries had substantive discussions on U.S. demands that Beijing crack down on the trafficking of the chemical ingredients used to make fentanyl. Mr. Bessent said the Chinese “understood the magnitude” of the fentanyl crisis in the United States.

LOL that's the canard they're gonna hide under?

Quitting #smoking is a pain in the ass.

I quit #fentanyl before I quit smoking and it's the one #addiction I've had a problem with since I was 18 years old and bought a cigar just because I could.

Not to say #opioid withdrawal is easier, but the sheer ease of access and the fact it's EVERYWHERE you go at every single gas station, and grocery store makes it impossible to avoid.

Then I get stressed out and make excuses.

I've went to #vaping now.

At least I smell like berries.

“They’re tools. These are testing strips. They’re not expensive. They’re incredibly effective and they’re drastically needed in our community. Having testing equipment so people know what’s in the substance they’re about to use is just so important right now.” texasobserver.org/fentanyl-tes
