🚑 Bridging language barriers, saving lives TODAY in Nubian Square, #Boston!

💪🏾Empowering our community with life-saving skills! A free Hands-Only CPR & Stop the Bleed training was offered in both English and Spanish at La Sala, led by Lt. Sanchez and Capt. Chu.

Inspired by my EMT-B recertification, I'm committed to bridging the gap in bystander CPR rates in underserved communities by connecting them with the incredible Boston EMS Community Initiative team.

Arrived in Poland! 🇵🇱

🇺🇦My next stop is Lviv via ground transport 🚐 It’s about an 8 hour + trip. Looking forward to standing alongside local Ukrainian volunteers and showing solidarity with Ukraine. The Polish people have been incredibly welcoming and supportive.✨

Congratulations to Deputy Myron Bennett III and Paramedic/Firefighter Victor Low, honored by Thousand Oaks Elks Lodge in its annual Law Enforcement and Firefighter Recognition ceremony. We live in one of the safest communities in the nation thanks to the dedication of first responders like these.

It was a privilege to join Assemblymember Jacqui Irwin and colleagues Al Adam and Tie Gutierrez, along with representatives from Congresswoman Julia Brownley, Senator Henry Stern, and Ventura County Supervisor Jeff Gorell, in presenting commendations for extraordinary public service.

Today the team @1password released a way for people to programmatically share passwords with others via link. It got me thinking about how people coordinating first responders from different organizations could share log in info during emergencies much quicker and more controlled. In the past this has been done with sticky notes and print outs. Anywho very helpful functionality. #firstresponders #passwords #infosec

“We are stepping up as a group to say we take the mental health of our responders seriously and have a partnership with an organization that will assist us with being healthier and better versions of ourselves.” Right on!!! cabinradio.ca/217789/news/heal

👋🏽 Bystander CPR Saves Lives!

🚑 As an EMT-B, I can confirm the importance of bystander CPR before first responders arrive. Starting CPR within the first 10 minutes of someone having a cardiac arrest at home or in public can double or triple survival chances and protect brain function.

🙌🏽 Let’s make a difference. Learn CPR, teach CPR, and encourage your community to do the same. Remember, your hands can be a lifeline.
