Deb Oppermann<p>This reddish brown Clearwing Hummingbird Moth, Hemaris, entertained me for quite some time as it flitted from one purple/pink bloom to another of the Butterfly Bush, Buddleia. It comes by its name honestly as it hovers, hums and nectars just like the Hummingbird and it loves the same flowers.<br />See it here <br /><a href="https://debbie-oppermann.pixels.com/featured/clearwing-moth-sipping-nectar-on-buddleia-debbie-oppermann.html" target="_blank" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" translate="no"><span class="invisible">https://</span><span class="ellipsis">debbie-oppermann.pixels.com/fe</span><span class="invisible">atured/clearwing-moth-sipping-nectar-on-buddleia-debbie-oppermann.html</span></a> <br /><a href="https://photog.social/tags/insect" class="mention hashtag" rel="tag">#<span>insect</span></a> <a href="https://photog.social/tags/moth" class="mention hashtag" rel="tag">#<span>moth</span></a> <a href="https://photog.social/tags/HummingbirdMoth" class="mention hashtag" rel="tag">#<span>HummingbirdMoth</span></a> <a href="https://photog.social/tags/InsectSaturday" class="mention hashtag" rel="tag">#<span>InsectSaturday</span></a> <a href="https://photog.social/tags/nature" class="mention hashtag" rel="tag">#<span>nature</span></a> <a href="https://photog.social/tags/wild" class="mention hashtag" rel="tag">#<span>wild</span></a> <a href="https://photog.social/tags/wildlife" class="mention hashtag" rel="tag">#<span>wildlife</span></a> <a href="https://photog.social/tags/BuyIntoArt" class="mention hashtag" rel="tag">#<span>BuyIntoArt</span></a> <a href="https://photog.social/tags/MastoPhoto" class="mention hashtag" rel="tag">#<span>MastoPhoto</span></a> <a href="https://photog.social/tags/NatureMastodon" class="mention hashtag" rel="tag">#<span>NatureMastodon</span></a> <a href="https://photog.social/tags/NaturePhotography" class="mention hashtag" rel="tag">#<span>NaturePhotography</span></a> <a href="https://photog.social/tags/artforsale" class="mention hashtag" rel="tag">#<span>artforsale</span></a> <a href="https://photog.social/tags/fediverse" class="mention hashtag" rel="tag">#<span>fediverse</span></a> <a href="https://photog.social/tags/GiftIdeas" class="mention hashtag" rel="tag">#<span>GiftIdeas</span></a></p>
ZeNeece 🦄🏎️<p>Today I was so lucky! I saw a monarch butterfly on my walk with my doggo, AND I saw a hummingbird moth!<br>I tried to get a picture of the butterfly, but it was too far away. Neither of these little marvels of Nature were willing to take a photo. But at least I got to see them!<br><a href="https://social.vivaldi.net/tags/Today" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>Today</span></a> <a href="https://social.vivaldi.net/tags/MonarchButterfly" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>MonarchButterfly</span></a> <a href="https://social.vivaldi.net/tags/HummingbirdMoth" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>HummingbirdMoth</span></a> <a href="https://social.vivaldi.net/tags/Insects" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>Insects</span></a></p>
