Tuomo H
Puhelimesta ei löytynyt tarpeeksi lempeää herätysääntä. Olen huono nukkumaan, joten tavallinen herätysääni aiheuttaa pienen shokin. Koska ääneksi kelpaa myös mp3, pohdin hetken mistä saisin näppärästi jonkin ladattua. Tajusin NextCloudissani olevan omat musaprojektit. Sieltä valitsin rauhallisen kappaleen nimeltä Smooth Frank, menee ambientin alle. Soi ekaa kertaa tänään, toimi kuten pitääkin. Herättää, muttei shokilla.

Biisistä on olemassa myös ei-niin-smooth, alkuperäinen versio, jonka nimi on tietenkin Frank. Harvoista biiseistäni muistan enää nimen alkuperän, mutta tämän muistan. Nimesin tämän aikanaan Donnie Darkosta löytyvän Frank the Bunnyn mukaan.

#jollac2 #gerneboosten

There are problems with calls/texts but that should be fixed with the VoLTE update. Some people have already started using #JollaC2 as their daily driver: forum.sailfishos.org/t/feedbac

Despite the size, the #JollaC2 is a nice piece of hardware. I kinda wish @jolla offered the purple version of "Reeder S19 Max Pro S" though... I lol-ed at the name, let's stick with C2.

Display is bright enough (well, Finland is kinda dark now for proper testing), speakers are loud enough, audio quality meh, but I'll probably be using headphones (with 3.5mm!!)

Size matters.

Why do most manufacturers think Pro Max Plus Ultra XL is the best? Do most users think the same?

Why do I drop my phone so much? Yes I'm clumsy, but when I can't even reach the middle of the phone, there's no way I can properly balance it. #SailfishOS gestures help but only up to a point.

If only the #JollaC2 was the size of #JollaC...

@chikl

I'm just happy that someone is reading my toots 😆 Well, I'm glad you find my ramblings useful, and I'll be adding more observations as we go along.

To be honest the #JollaC2 (hardware) is a mixed bag. The good news is it looks like @jolla is also working on support for Sony Xperia 10 IV & V, and I *think* those will provide a better experience at a similar price point. I hope to do a comparison at some point.

I haven't been using #SailfishOS devices as my main phone in a long time, but I usually have one as a secondary device. Earlier today I was out running errands which took longer than expected. My Pixel9 was running low on battery & I needed to make a call so I tried it on the #JollaC2. Didn't work.

Luckily my #Pixel9 still managed the 15-min call in -6C cold at 8% batt. I don't make voice calls often so it wasn't the first thing I tested.. still a critical function!
