It would seem Spotlight has been the main culprit.</p><p>I decided to run OnyX maintenance scripts to see if rebuilding the Spotlight Index would be a fix but my drive failed the disk verification check OnyX runs first. I want to triple boot Snow Leopard, Windows XP, and a linux distro (preferably Debian-based) but I'm having issues with installation, either generic/unknown errors or GRUB won't <a href="https://retro-gaiden.com/tags/install" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>install</span></a> </p><p>I'm new to manual partitioning, so maybe I'm missing something past the usual ext4 partition and the swap partition.</p>

Charles :trans_comm: Grn Prty<p>Status: </p><p>1. The trackpad is clicky to do mouse clicks, but only in the parts that my main laptop's trackpad is NOT clicky. </p><p>2. So its not as slow as it seems, I'm just finding clicking challenging.</p><p>3. No Wi-Fi devices detected. I need to find out:</p><p>a. Is this fixable?</p><p>b. Can I fix it on the USB key, so I can try the computer running linux with working WiFi?</p><p>The music software installed on this computer, in OS X, is years out of date but it does work and was/is a large financial cost.
