Today, something pretty special. I saw this example of the original 1967-1972 Mazda Cosmo at the recent Practical Classics restoration show at the NEC. Only about 1,200 of these were built and apparently there are only two in the UK. Alongside the NSU Ro80, this was the first car to have a twin-rotor Wankel engine. This car is in the middle of a restoration project by Yorkshire Car Restoration. (1/2)

Der Mazda 6e hat sich irgendwie selbst disqualifiziert, weil die Variante mit großem NMC-Akku mit maximal 90 kW geladen werden will. Das ist peinlich, Mazda.
I replaced my radiator today for the first time. Car mechanics is a new skill for me, so this felt like a big job to tackle. Fortunately, all went well! I had to take it on a test drive of course, so I'm at my favorite #Albuquerque bar for #karaoke!
I do really enjoy this little car. Sometimes I just sit back and stare at it.
But that's not going to get the Xidas and bushings installed.
Warm enough today, that I woke Baby Blue from her long, dark, Winter slumber. I left her outside this (cold) Winter, and didn't hook her up to the trickle charger. So I had to use my jump pack to get her started: she fired right up, once connected.
Took her out for a romp, battery recharging, and a good wash-n-wax. She's very happy to be awake and useful again.

Wusstet Ihr, dass der #Tesla-Designer Franz von Holzhausen früher bei #Mazda gearbeitet hat? Eine gewisse Ähnlichkeit im Design einiger Modelle kann man da sicherlich nicht leugnen.
Jedenfalls gab und gibt es in den letzten Jahren viele Tesla Fahrer, die sich schämen oder Angst um ihr Auto haben und deshalb das Telsa-Logo durch ein Mazda-Logo ersetzen. Ich finde das eine akzeptable Abgrenzung von Musk und wesenlich stylischer als ein Aufkleber mit einem Anti-Musk-Spruch.
