The White House replaced the covid.gov website with one promoting the unproven theory that COVID-19 came from a lab in China. This new site also spreads false information, claiming that social distancing and masks are ineffective against the virus. Many scientists disagree with this theory and support the effectiveness of preventive measures.

I can't even describe this as a potential scenario for a new docuseries on #Netflix

Додивився міні-серіал Падіння дома Ашерів (The fall of the house of Usher”). Сподівався, що фінал буде реалістичним, а не містичним. Мораль фільма - все має свою ціну, і угоди з «дияволом» завжди приводять до падіння. Є ще одна цікава думка про що є справжнім багатством: «справжнє багатство - не в тому, що ти маєш, а в тому, ким ти є та кого любиш».
З першим мені важко погодитись, бо справедливості/карми на мою думку не існує, та ніякі вищі сили не покарають тих, хто поступає аморально.
З другим я згоден, ця ідея близька мені. Хоча у фільми на прикладі прокурора показується, що можна бути щасливим без багатстваЯ щиро вірю, що гроші самі по собі не роблять людей щасливими, але маючи постійний нестаток грошей, стати щасливим неможливо. Тобто, достаток - це необхідна але недостатня умова щастя

Started watching Bodies on Netflix yesterday

It’s a mystery / sci-fi / noir and if you have seen and loved Dark, there are some similarities but in a poor cousin way.

I’m interested to see how the story deals with the “what happens to minorities who think they are helping when they work for the police” thing

There is also a gay victorian subplot, I like gay and I like victorian.

Will probably finish it today, it’s only 8 episodes.

Nice cinematography based on the graphic novel and I like the 40s and 1890s costumes.

Just watched the episode of 'BLACK MIRROR' titled 'USS CALLISTER: INTO INFINITY' and it was so good, I could watch an entire season of just this story.

I was almost in tears last night watching the chef in Episode 10 of The Blank Menu for You talk philosophically about eoran (a Korean food ingredient) because it was so relatable.

I'm not dying of loneliness, I'm deepening my flavour.

(It's a wonderful, gentle, cozy, heart-warming show. I recommend it.)

This season of 'BLACK MIRROR' is amazing so far. No spoilers but if you haven't seen the episode titled 'Eulogy' it's just a beautiful story that I think anyone can relate to. Paul Giamatti is incredible and the storytelling is stellar.

We binged last night this Polish show called Project UFO on Netflix

It’s less about UFOs than it is about politics. I understand why some north american audiences didn’t like it very much.

It’s very atmospheric, and also made me think about how every dictatorship has the same vibe. They tell the people it’s beautiful and glamourous, and it’s not - it’s just a bunch of trashy people with a lot of power and obsessed with getting even more power.

Good Polish synthpop soundtrack, too.
