Ich lese es in diesen schwierigen politischen Zeiten immer häufiger: Einigen Usern ist es viel zu viel Politik in ihrer Timeline. Manche wollen oder haben bereits ihren Account deswegen (vorrübergehend) stillgelegt, manche schauen viel weniger in's Fediverse als vorher.
Das finde ich sehr schade.
Bei Friendica gibt es einen Inhaltsfilter für sowas! Mir wurde es z.B. während der letzten EM viel zu viel mit dem Thema Fußball in meiner Timeline, da probierte ich diesen Filter das erste Mal aus. Beiträge mit dem gefilterten Wort bekommen so eine Contentwarnung und erscheinen zusammengeklappt. Ihr könnt den Beitrag also trotzdem aufklappen und lesen, wenn ihr mögt!
Es werden nicht 100% gefiltert, aber die Themen, die man nicht sehen möchte, werden schon erheblich weniger.
In Friendica ist dieser Filter unter "Einstellungen" -> "Addons" -> "Inhaltsfilter (NSFW und mehr)" zu finden, dort könnt ihr alles eintragen, was euch stört. 
Steht dieser dort nicht, fragt euren Admin doch mal, ob er diesen aktivieren würde.
Habt ihr eine eigene Instanz, geht auf "Administration" -> "Addons" -> "NSFW", danach kann dieser unter "Einstellungen" -> "Addons" -> "Inhaltsfilter (NSFW und mehr)" konfiguriert werden.

One thing I'm noticing about the Fediverse, and even Dreamwidth, although I love being there, is that they contain large numbers of specific groups, including those with mental disabilities/problems, the tecnology, programming, and/or gaming obsessed, those who want to save the world or at least be involved in it, vegans, and the politically obsessed. It's driving me mad! Normally, I seek those who love luxury, literature, classical music, theatre, fashion (particularly antique menswear or at least suits and ties), general cooking and/or fine dining, wine, antiques, history, and high culture. But lately, I've been finding myself asking "where are the normal people"! I didn't include the pet, nature, garden, or science people, or even the photographers in my above description because I love them and they are why I'm still here. But I'd like to go through one day without reading about the evils of meat-eaters or capitalism and how it must be overthrown, quarrels regarding those who follow this or that politician, how this or that platform and owner there of is bad and why we need to get people off of it, people's mental problems, or wars in foreign countries! Please, if anyone can suggest accounts for me to follow, I would appreciate it!

@whatzaname In this situation it's a well-known and popular celebrity who most people would not block. In fact, I follow him on the fowl site but am just not interested in following him here because my focus here is different (#NoPolitics). The only reason I've resorted to blocking him is because muting didn't work.

Il y a quelques jours, j'ai vu arriver une nouvelle série sur le N-rouge : #V-Wars.
J'ai eu un peu peur de voir l'acteur principal, qui semble être condamné à jouer dans des séries vampiriques, mais j'ai quand-même regardé quelques épisodes.
Déjà, ça fait plaisir de voir ce mythe revenir par le biais de la science : on devient vampire en contractant une maladie très contagieuse qui modifie l'ADN du malade.
Le personnage principal cherche donc un remède à ce nouvel Ebola.
