I've persuaded maybe a dozen people to install <a href="https://infosec.space/tags/Signal" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>Signal</span></a> and exactly three to run <a href="https://infosec.space/tags/Linux" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>Linux</span></a>; I've managed to get one (1) person to stop using <a href="https://infosec.space/tags/Xitter" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>Xitter</span></a>, and I've inoculated several against <a href="https://infosec.space/tags/Tesla" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>Tesla</span></a>; but I haven't managed to prise a single person away from <a href="https://infosec.space/tags/Facebook" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>Facebook</span></a> or <a href="https://infosec.space/tags/WhatsApp" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>WhatsApp</span></a>, and they think I'm awkward and eccentric for refusing to use <a href="https://infosec.space/tags/Meta" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>Meta</span></a>'s offerings.</p>

Bench Mark

Heute hatten wir 2 Stunden lang eine Vereinssitzung über #Signal mit 7 Teilnehmern. Audio- und Bildqualität waren tadellos. Manche nutzten Handy-Apps, andere sind über Desktop-Programme eingestiegen. Das Zeug funktioniert.

Ich wünschte, Signal hätte das auch während der Pandemie geleistet. Meinen Geburtstag im Frühling 2020 habe ich online über Jitsi gefeiert - auch mit top Bild- und Audioqualität. Mich befremdet, dass heute manche Politiker (m/w/d) Microsoft für die damalige "Unterstützung" danken...
