Leeloo<p>Looking for a new <a href="https://techhub.social/tags/privacy" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>privacy</span></a> oriented search engine to set as default search in <a href="https://techhub.social/tags/vivaldi" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>vivaldi</span></a> browser. I have been using <a href="https://techhub.social/tags/startpagesearch" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>startpagesearch</span></a> for years, but often search results don’t contain the terms I am searching for. It’s ust as bad as Google, which I have been told that StartPage uses behind the scenes, so this isn’t exactly a surprise.</p><p>For a couple of days, I have been trying out <a href="https://techhub.social/tags/qwant" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>qwant</span></a>, but I just had to dump it. I did a search for pizza bianca seasoning, two Italian words and one English: The first several results were in Danish, and did not contain the word seasoning at all. Not only did Qwant discard my search terms, it did so to prove that it knows where I live (Denmark). This shows that I can neither trust Qwant to respect my privacy, nor to give usable search results.</p>
