ok, here I have a #mystery, the #FujichromeR25 #Single8 #film was stored outside for years, wet. When developed to bw it has these triangle patterns on emulsion. some kind of crystallization, but what and how?

I was filming from the passenger seat in my van and this truck was in the next lane. The dad had piled the kids on the truck bed and was hauling ass down the highway. Try that now and see what happens.
Anyway, I love these frames.

#Agfa #Moviechrome #A40 #super8 film shot with a #FujicaZC1000 #Single8 camera. Developed with #rodinal 1:100 for a bit over an hour or so.
I think the out of focus comes from fumbling the scan, need to retry.
I was strolling around SF after dropping off a roll of #super8/#super8mm film at Glass Key Photography for processing, and came across McTeague's Saloon, under the golden tooth.

@maddiefuzz OFC, #Super8 is more nieche than #35mm and doesn't have as big of a demand, which is a problem for something perishable...
It's kinda like with #SheetFilm and anything #LargeFormat aka. beyond 6x9 / 120 #MediumFormat roll film...
Also nowadays #Film is an "artistic choice" and not your everyday go-to format without competition as #digital is more #accessible, #convenient and #approachable than #analog photography...
THAT is why even making a transfer to #Super8 is nieche, in and of itself...
So yeah, I am convinced that film got more expensive due to lack of demand, but I do have to admit that I don't have sufficient data to evidence that...
