When I was leaving for work this morning, I noticed our regular Swamp Wallaby in the front yard (who had clearly noticed me too).
She has a joey in her pouch who's clearly getting fairly large.

While preparing breakfast this morning, I looked out the window and who should I see in the backyard, but our little Swamp Wallaby also enjoying breakfast.
(last shot is when I was leaving for work, and she was "hiding" in the tall grass)
Our swamp wallaby is back this morning, wondering what happened to all the tasty long grass that was there the day before (it was mowed yesterday).
She came back to a different spot in the backyard later, so here's some bonus wallaby content.
Our resident Swamp Wallaby was back in the yard yesterday, happily munching some weeds (until it started bucketing down with rain, whereby she fled for cover).
There's a light fog outside, and our regular Swamp Wallaby is in the front yard.
Kookaburra sunbathing on the clothesline this morning, and our wallaby is in the backyard again right now.
The day started well with a Wallaby in the front yard, and ended well with the same wallaby in the backyard, and being greeted by King Parrots and Currawongs on the veranda.
The less said about the rest of the day the better.
Mother Swamp Wallaby has brought her joey to the backyard to graze this afternoon and it is SUPER CUTE.
It is overcast this morning, so the wallaby is in the backyard again. (there were two, but the smaller one bound off at the sounds of my footsteps upstairs).
And a couple of still photos I took after the video.
Stayed in the backyard for ages (might still be there, but it's dark out now).
Swamp Wallaby is back in the backyard this arvo. Happily munching away.
I managed to sneak out on to the veranda to capture some video.
I had some apple cores, and a fruit-fly stung apple that rather than composting, I put out on the "offering rock" for the critters.
Seems this swamp wallaby found it last night.
