Will Hopkins 🌈📸<p>Hey <a href="https://a2mi.social/tags/SelfHosting" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>SelfHosting</span></a> gang... I run <a href="https://a2mi.social/tags/Immich" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>Immich</span></a> on my NAS via Docker. I download photos from my camera cards onto my desktop. I'd like to auto-copy the JPGs into Immich—is some sort of cron job that powers up the Immich CLI the way to go? Or can I curl an endpoint maybe?</p><p>Both the desktop and NAS are on the same <a href="https://a2mi.social/tags/Tailscale" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>Tailscale</span></a> tailnet, so it's easy for them to talk to each other. For just copying to the NAS I'd probably use rsync, but I assume I have to actually upload the pics to Immich rather than copying.</p>
