First thought: How decentralized is BlueSky if they are rolling out a "centralized verification system" for blue checks.

Second thought. Is following the Twitter model really a great idea in the long run? We all saw how Twitter ended up. Sure the board is supportive of the citizenries message now, but what if the board changes, or is pressured by outside legal or market forces?

Feels like they are out of innovative ideas.
