Tak, dzisiaj jest rocznica tego smutnego wydarzenia dla polskiego motorsportu.

Ja jednak chciałbym w tym miejscu podkreślić inną rzecz - od tamtej pory Robert Kubica:
- Zdobył mistrzostwo w klasie WRC2 (2013)
- Zaliczył powrót do F1 (2019) - to w jakim stylu, pozostawia zbyt wiele znaków zapytania
- Zdobył mistrzostwo ELMS w klasie LMP2, i przy okazji całego sezonu (2021)
- Zdobył mistrzostwo WEC w klasie LMP2 (2023)
- Aktualnie ma fotel w Ferrari w klasie LMH - fakt, zespół kliencki, a nie fabryka, but still

Można gdybać bez końca co by było gdyby nie ten feralny wypadek, ale nie zapominajmy, że Robert osiągnął niemało pomimo tego wypadku i widać, że odnalazł się w wyścigach długodystansowych.
Dlatego zamiast po raz 2137 wklejać to samo zdjęcie rozbitej Skody, życzę, aby Robert w tym sezonie sięgnął po mistrzostwo WEC w topowej klasie (a może i nawet przy okazji wygraną w 24h Le Mans)

Tom Kristensen usually does his annual IMSA check in via Zoom during the 12 Hours of Sebring, so it is an exciting little treat that they are bringing him into booth for a full, announced 45 mins to an hour. Tom is obviously one of the greatest endurance sports car drivers to ever do it, so his insight into the art and his many colorful stories in his career are welcome.

The #motorsport Telegram chat I run is discussing our favorite yellow cars. The top contenders are Jordan #F1 in the late 90s and early 00s and my personal favorite in the Corvette Racing program's entries that won overall or in class at the Rolex, Le Mans, Sebring, etc in the early 2000s.

I'm sure that has NOTHING to do with how much I love Ron Fellows as somebody whose first introduction to American sports car racing was #NASCAR "Road Ringers" like Ron and Boris Said...

A yellow and black early 2000s Corvette racecar which has the number 2 prominently on it and sponsorship from GM Goodwrench and GMAC. It appears to be racing at Daytona given the degree of banking on the track, a race it won this year (2001)
