I hope frozen water counts for #WaterWednesday
An image from 2022 of the infamous Abraham Lake in #Alberta #Canada with its frozen methane bubbles trapped just below the surface.
The bubbles from my understanding are a result of organics buried in the lake bed after it was created by the nearby manmade dam. This place has unsurprisingly become a huge photo attraction as a result.
A #beautiful #snowstorm hits in April 2022. The snow was fresh. The sounds of #nature were quiet. The ambience was #peaceful and silent.
