#ArtAdventCalender days 21-23 finally finished the second panel. Will be excited to start the third today.

Here’s a shower curtain featuring my #sturgeon #paddlefish and #sturddlefish designs as one of my final #artadventcalender posts. My parents ordered this from Redbubble a while back and it’s probably still the only one of its kind.

#ArtAdventCalender days 18-20. Got quite a bit of #HandStitching done yesterday and got the last 10 inches of panel 2 worked put and pinned to the substrate. First photo is progress through yesterday. Second photo is both panels showing the interaction between the 2, and shows the top 10" of fabric scraps pinned in place on the second panel.

#ArtAdventCalender days 15-17. Have had family in town so made less progress but still got some #HandStitching in each day.

Finally got a moment to sit down and work on my #HandStitching project tonight. I did a tiny bit yesterday but didn't get a chance to photograph it and post. So here is #ArtAdventCalender days 12 and 13 progress

#ArtAdventCalender day 9, late post. I finished the first strip, 37" long x 6" wide. The color theme is muted blues, grays, greens and browns with the occasional pop of chartreuse and red violet. Entirely constructed by hand, from scraps and patches.

#ArtAdventCalender day 8. Did not finish the first panel because distracted by attempting to figure out barcodes for my inventory. But managed an hour of #HandStitching this evening.

#ArtAdventCalender day 7 minimal progress made on the #HandStitching but major dent in the gift shopping and I cleaned the guest bathroom!

Yesterday was a very long day but I did manage to get some #HandStitching in. Just missed posting to #ArtAdventCalender for Day 5. So today's post us for days 5 and 6. I made a lot more progress today than I did yesterday and added the last section of fabrics for this panel. Will see if I can get the last section stitched down tomorrow in amongst my errands and gift shopping.

#ArtAdventCalender day 4, more progress on the #HandStitching

#ArtAdventCalender day 3 more progress on the #HandStitching project. Completed sewing all.of the patches down on the first 8-10 inches and added more fabric. The strip will eventually be 36" long. Sorry for the pitiful #alt-text. Too tired tonight to better describe the photo.

My contribution to the #ArtAdventCalender day 2 is the start of a daily #HandStitching project that will hopefully become a 24" w x 36" tall #ArtQuilt.

My plan is to construct this in 4 6" wide "scrolls" that I will ladder stitch together to join them. We will see how this progresses and if I can pull it off.

Today, I'm sharing a piece from a project that helped me find my artistic voice. It's still one of my all time favorites: Particle Art!

I created these with code and inspiration from Chemistry and Physics. As the simulation ran, the image developed and I saved it when it was 'done'.
