In #Australia, female #woolworths #homeshop drivers use a trolley and make one trip. The males ignore the trolley, spend ages inside the truck unpacking tubs and piling bags near the door. They load up like pack mules, struggle to carry the loads, break the paper bags and drop stuff, and usually need multiple trips. Easily take 3x longer than the women. It's a macho disease and it's no wonder delivery schedules slip. Probably all think "more efficient". We men can be such dimwits.

“The great American (#USA) cultural and economic #hegemony that has lasted for more than 80 years is coming to an end.

America's global economic #leadership was formalised in 1944, when 730 delegates from 44 allied nations met at the Mount Washington Hotel, in Bretton Woods, New Hampshire, and agreed to base the global trading system on the #USDollar, which would in turn be pegged to #gold.” — Alan Kohler

An simple example. Yesterday sitting down catching up and talking to my neighbour, electric cars come up and the US variety was booed (guess which one) , the CH version lauded (BYD). The world is routing around the USA economically, right now.

The image shows a suspended whale model in a museum corridor, accented by blue duotones. It aims to indicate the ocean's essence, supporting marine life awareness. The blend of architecture and color fosters a serene, reflective atmosphere.
