Beautiful sunny morning. Had a few muscular twinges and aches going out. They are all still there, but nothing got much worse on the run.
24 miles done, so my longest run before the marathon (and ever!) It's still 4 weeks out, so I'll still keep the miles up, but spread them out over the week.
Pleased I've got this far, I always thought these distances were beyond me.

A relaxed 15km trail run with 500m EG very close to where I live. Even though I've run here many times, every season has its own special magic 🌞 There's no doubt that spring has finally arrived here in the mountains as well!

Tomorrow till Friday I'm off to #London for #QConLondon, which I'm really looking forward to. Let's see how much running I get to do here 😎

A short 12km/400m EG afternoon trail run in perfect weather!! Spring is definitely around the corner, even though it's still quite cold, somewhere around freezing, but perfect for #running

This has somehow become my current standard run at least 4 times a week, and if I can, I try to cover a total distance of >50km in 7 days. So far, this works quite well, not much left of my spring fatigue 🥱

Very pleased.
Terrible 1st 4 miles, felt rough, sluggish, tired. Thought I might be coming down with something. Was planning 15 miles and starting to think I should cut short.
Realised that there would be bad days, and thought this could happen on marathon day, so I'll just keep stepping it out and see, as nothing was actually sore.
It just clicked after a while, pace picked up a little, and I enjoyed it. I kept going for 18 miles then as I was feeling good. 🙂

Easy sunny distance run. Focus is enjoying and gradually building up distance (not speed or EG). So again just a little bit further than last week ended up in 15k run 🙂. The weather conditions were warmer than expected 🥵. First time in shorts but still very warm.
